Week two of finals action in the Nepean FNL.

In the under 19’s game between Sorrento and Red Hill, the Sharks got home in a thriller. Sorrento held off a fast finishing Red Hill side to win by 6 points. The Sharks will progress straight into the Grand Final while Red Hill will face either Somerville or Rosebud next week in the Preliminary Final at Tyabb.

The Reserves saw a big upset with Red Hill getting the chocolates and the week off after defeating Rosebud by 31 points. The Hillmen were on song from the first bounce and didn’t give Rosebud a look into the match. Rosebud will now face either Frankston Bombers or Rye in next week’s Preliminary Final.

And in the Seniors Frankston ran away with a 45 point victory and a spot in the Grand Final in two weeks. The Bombers were in control of the game for most of the match, and will see them move into the Grand Final as favourites to take out the main prize. Rosebud will just have to shake this one off and be ready for either Somerville again or Hastings next week at Tyabb.
