Saturday – Qualifying Finals

Starting off with the Under 19’s it was Red Hill who has proceeded into the 2nd Semi to take on Somerville after defeating Frankston by 19 points. In the Reserves, Sorrento prevailed over Red Hill to win by 39 points, and will now face Rosebud next week in the 2nd Semi and in the Seniors, Rosebud defeated Frankston by 19 points and will take on Sorrento for the 2nd time in three weeks, after defeating the Sorra’s in round 18 the Buds will be feeling confident.

 

Sunday – Eliminations Finals

In the Under 19’s Crib Point and Sorrento played in a thrilling match which saw the Sharks prevail by 1 point, to take on Frankston this Sunday at Devon Meadows. In the Reserves, the Frankston Bombers got the better of Hastings by 31 points to advance to the Semi Finals against Red Hill, and in the Seniors, it was Hastings that got the better of Red Hill with a 36 point win over the Hillmen. The Blues will now face Frankston next week.

Netball

Semi Final 2

A Grade was a great clash between Crib Point and Tyabb, with the Magpies taking the win and place in the Grand Final. B Grade Sommy was too good for Crib Point with a 13 goal win, it was the reverse results in C Grade with Crib Point holding on to a 3 goal win, D Grade Frankston was on fire against Rye defeating the Demons by 23 goals, and in the U17’s Pearcedale had a 9 goal win over Red Hill to go into the Grand Final.

 

Semi Final 1

A Grade saw Somerville show no mercy to Frankston as they won by 23 goals, and will now face Tyabb in the Preliminary this Sunday, Frankston and Tyabb played in a thriller with the Yabbies getting up by only 3 goals to take on Crib Point this Sunday, Devon Meadows also had a nail biting win over Pearcedale by 2 goals and will take on Somerville in the Preliminary Final, D Grade saw another close game with Devon also defeating Pearcedale but this one was by one goal, Devon will take on Rye on Sunday, while in the U17’s Dromana defeat Sorrento by 9 goals to advance to the preliminary on Sunday.
