Round 12 actions in the Nepean FNL saw Tyabb go down to Dromana by 72 points at home keeping the Tigers in the top 5 and two games clear of Red Hill and Somerville. Sorrento showed no mercy to Crib Point, dishing out a 133 point loss to the Magpies with Poholke kicking 7 for the Sharks. Devon Meadows showed Pearcedale who was the bigger and better Panther, this time making sure mother nature didn’t interfere with the end result, winning by 93 points Allan Murray had 7 to his name at the end of the day. The Frankston Bombers made certain they didn’t lose three on the trot with a 45 point win over Red Hill at home, Rye suffered a big loss to Hastings by 86 points and in the last game, Rosebud made light work of Somerville winning by 79 points.

Netball

Some big games today in Netball, Devon Meadows got the betterĀ of Pearcedale in their local derby, with the ladies in Red, White and Black winning by 6 goals, Frankston was overcome by a hungry Red Hill team by 18 goals, Somerville continued their unbeaten season with a 33 goal win over Rosebud, Tyabb were too strong for Dromana, while Sorrento went down to Crib Point by 73 goals.
